Global Customer Support division is responsible for all Kongsberg Maritimes services and support in the aftermarket. During the operational lifetime of over 18.000 installations, we ensure system uptime and added value. The Technical Account Managers (TAM) main function is to follow up on Service Agreement contracts for KMs key customers to secure profitable and efficient operation. Our customers demand up-time on their assets and strive to keep total cost of ownership as low as possible. GCS/After Market Support shall act as a reliable partner, using our competence providing after-market product solutions and services.
We are searching for an efficient, structured and open minded Technical Account Manager to join our team of Technical Account Managers.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Be KM GCS main contact person for a portfolio of customers with Service Agreements (SA), mainly within offshore segment, for LNG vessels. Can be extended to other vessel types later.
- Be the customers main point of contact in the KM GCS organization related to operational issues (maintain customers interest)
- Provide obsolescence and Life Cycle Management analysis to be able to inform the customer about recommended maintenance, modification and product renewal of the fleet
- Responsible for follow up activities within the Service Agreements contracts, like scheduled maintenance programs and enhancements of the portfolio
- The TAM will be an escalating point for the SA customer with regards to the KONGSBERG Follow the Sun concept and the 24/7 ongoing operation between the customer and KONGSBERG
- Be an active part of the After Sales- / After Market network
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar
- 3-5 years experience as senior service engineer, Technical Advisor, Project Manager, service management or similar
- Experience in close customer relations
- Knowledge of offshore products, and processes related to LNG vessels
- Focus on the customers needs and expectations
- Reliable, self-driven with good collaboration skills
- Good communication skills in English, both written and oral
