Nordic Solution Architect - Core Banking

As a Nordic Solution Architect - Core Banking you will be responsible for the design, development and life cycle of the Santander Nordic Core Banking systems. You will develop, guide and maintain technology roadmaps, strategies and service plans for our Core Banking platform, including consolidation.

Areas of responsibility

• Designing and developing the life cycle of Santander Nordic Core Banking systems
• Implementation and decommission of Core Banking Systems to achieve business objectives 
• Advice, review, and approve technical Core Banking solutions – in cooperation with other solution architects
  

Main deliveries   

• Continuously evaluate Core Banking provider industry and market capabilities regarding current and emerging technologies  
• Establish and implement the overall technical architecture for Core Banking systems 
• Provide leadership and mentoring on the Core Banking systems platform 
  

Competence and personality requirements 

• Core Banking technologies and their application in the financial sector 
• Knowledge of Bi-modal architecture - integration technologies and strategies
• General knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies and market trends  
• Documented, relevant IT skills and experience from Core Banking systems in financial sector 
• Leadership and motivational skills 
• Analytical and systematic  
• Experience as a solution architect in the financial industry
• Ideally in-depth knowledge of Banqsoft, Way4 and other providers
• Transformation of business strategies into development roadmaps for Core Banking systems 
• Application development, program/project management preferably from the financial industry
