Greencarrier Shipping & Logistics AS are looking for a Managing Director who is ready to take lead, challenge the market and further strengthen our market position in Norway.

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, development and performance within Greencarrier Shipping & Logistics Norway. You steer the company in the most profitable direction always with our values, vision and long-term goals in mind. In your role, you will have great possibilities and you are expected to influence, develop and make a difference.

The role reports to CEO of Greencarrier Freight Services International and is a member of the (International) management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting the overall strategic direction of the company.
• Planning and implementing long-term business plans and policies to achieve the company’s strategic and financial goals
• Analyzing opportunities for growth in market segments to drive profitability
• Provide a leadership in alignment with our company values; commitment, involvement, humour and joy
• Have a passion for sales; to build and realize our sales strategy and strategic approach to ensure new business
• Building and maintaining an effective management team
• Responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring other managers and supporting their professional development
• Provide the company and employees with a clear vision for future achievements

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as Managing Director or other managerial position preferably within the industry
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills that drives cooperation and involvement
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic business plans and forecasting
• Knowledge and industry interest
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
• Effective decision making
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Challenge driven and result oriented
