Project Manager Software development

To succeed with our new strategy we are dependent on excellent project management skills and execution. 

We seek to increase our capacity and broaden our skillset by recruiting a highly skilled project manager to lead software development projects for our internal customers. The project manager will work closely with both the customer side and our developer team to manage the development process creating application and solution to help our businesses reach their goals. 

Your role: 

• Project manager for software development projects from initiation to close-out phase making use of agile and innovative methodologies
• Work closely with key stakeholders on the business side to identify actual application needs and requirements
• Work closely with developers, architects, integration specialists and DevOps to plan, manage and deliver solid applications that meet customer requirements
• Be responsible for test planning and test management (manage the test activities)
• Plan and handle continuous improvements/release management
• Be a key player supporting other project managers and in improving our project management process and tools

Your profile: 

We are looking for candidates with high performance drive, high ethical standards and a clear can do attitude. You have deep motivation, knowledge and experience within leading software development teams with agile methods. You have gained experience within lean start up, MVP, design thinking and prototyping. Colleagues describe you as a team player and a trustworthy individual and you easily understand business needs. Working experience from similar roles in energy sector, consulting or industrial companies is highly relevant. 

• Great passion and excitement for managing system development teams and creating business value through best of breed applications
• At least 3 years experience as project manager with proven ability to successfully plan and manage complex system development projects
• Strong communication capabilities towards both business and technical teams
• Talent for building efficient teams and trusted relationship
• Organized and structured
• Fluent in English (oral and writing) and one the Scandinavian languages
• Higher education at university level or equivalent
• Certifications within project management is preferred
