NTNU Energy contributes to the energy transition, creating solutions for a sustainable future energy system. We are looking for the next member of our team, a Business Creation Supervisor, who will help turn brilliant energy research and great ideas into business. To facilitate this process, NTNU has teamed up with InnoEnergy ? the innovation engine for sustainable energy across Europe. You will be the one that helps bring together ideas, inventors and industry to create commercially attractive technologies that deliver real results to customers. ? All within the combined innovation support systems of NTNU and InnoEnergy.
The position is a 50-50 collaboration between NTNU and InnoEnergy, based in Trondheim, Norway. InnoEnergy has Six regional European Co-location Centres: Benelux, Iberia, Alps Valleys, Sweden, Poland Plus, Germany. NTNU is a member of the Scandinavian node with offices in Stockholm. The appointment is permanent, yet currently financed for three years.The position reports to the Director of NTNU Energy.
Job descriptionYou will be working for the InnoEnergy Scandinavia office within Business Creation with the focus on ?cases? emanating from NTNU 50 % of the time. This includes all activities associated with Business Creation such as scouting of relevant innovations, managing the InnoEnergy processes within the different programs/funding activities, and be the main interface and to coach entrepreneurs during the program period.
- At NTNU you will work closely with our Entrepreneurship School, NTNU TTO as well as the total Eco System for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at NTNU
- relevant academic background, MSc or equivalent to a Norwegian MSc
- excellent command of English, and at least one of the Scandinavian languages, oral and written
- practical experience with Innovation Eco-systems at Universities, preferably at NTNU, and industry collaboration (incubators, accelerators and business angels)
- thrive in an international team, and love to work in a multidisciplinary setting
- experience working with students and researchers on commercialization
- practical experience from implementing innovations in a business / societal setting
- existing network within the start-up community in the Nordic region
- self-driven, creative and innovative
- persistent and determined
- interpersonal and negotiating skills, experienced at building networks and solid business relationships
- excellent communication skills, including facility management
- ability to cooperate with all diciplines

The gross salary for the position of advisor/senior adviser code 1434/1364, is normally remunerated at gross from NOK 497 000 - 670 000 before tax per year,?depending on qualifications and seniority. From the salary, 2% is deducted as a contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.
Appointment takes place on the terms that apply to State employees at any time, and after the appointment you must assume that there may be changes in the area of work.
