Experienced Scientist in flow cytometry and immune monitoring

We are looking for a Scientist experienced in flow cytometry and immune monitoring

As a scientist you will take active part in planning, execution and reporting of research activities for advancing the Vaccibody vaccine technology. The tasks will be focused on flow cytometry including assay development and analysis of clinical and pre-clinical samples. In addition, you will take part in in vitro and in vivo pre-clinical experiments to study immunological responses, mode of action and efficacy in internal projects or in collaboration with external partners. Unique opportunity to join our dedicated team and be part of moving the exciting personalized cancer immunotherapy field forward!

Key responsibilities:

  • Expertise in assay development and analysis of clinical and pre-clinical samples by flow cytometry and/or immunohistochemistry (IHC)
  • A strong understanding of T cell immunology and cellular assays (ELISPOT, T cell proliferation, ELISA)
  • Experience with vaccination and treatment of mice (e.g. tumor challenge) 
  • Knowledge of molecular biology for constructing and validation of DNA plasmid vaccines
  • Writing reports and work instructions according to Vaccibody QMS system
  • To initiate, lead and execute laboratory work to advance the Vaccibody vaccine technology  


  • Expertise in flow cytometry and/or immunohistochemistry
  • MSc or higher degree in immunology or other relevant scientific discipline  
  • Fluent in English as working language
  • Quality-conscious, structured, proactive and accurate
  • Superior collaboration and communication skills
  • Contribute to positive attitude and excellent working environment
  • Be flexible and ability to prioritize in a dynamic RD team
  • Certified FELASA C preferred
  • Experience from industry preferred
