Data Quality Specialist / Project Creator

Job description:

• The position is accountable for Governance and Quality of Item, Bill of Material (BOM) and Project Creation, including Standard Packages and Products. The position shall ensure that we follow process, and correct steps is taken throughout project execution, to ensure efficiency and cut cost due to insufficient quality and process handling.
• Validate and clean up Master Data in PLM and ERP System to prepare for migration to new PLM / ERP Software.
• Provide support to Master Data Team.
• • The role shall perform Quality Validation of Items in PDM software, Set Item Master attributes into the ERP system in order to have active items with all necessary information to support all values streams.
  • Create and maintain new or existing BOM based on BOM Request Form.
  • Process and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing/SCM any changes to BOM
  • Ensure timely processing of BOM and Engineering Change Orders and Maintain tight control over documentation of the BOM to ensure audit compliance
  • Update Item Master and/or BOM based on the data provided in Engineering change order
  • Create and Maintain Standard Packages and ensure a timely and effective transition from Standard Packages to a New Project.
  • Ensure Items and Tag numbers is set up correctly in PDM system with proper quality and project requirements (Engineering is responsible for Tag Numbers and requirements to Items/Tag Numbers), verification of quality and project requirements/setup in system shall take place ongoing.
  • Responsible for performing periodic review of Active items for Attributes Quality, and follow up with necessary Item Attribute maintenance by updating system Manually or by Mass Update.
  • Respect global rules for Item/BOM within the PDM/ERP system and periodically review applicable processes(locally/globally
  • Ensure that Material/Production specifications are updated on the items in our PDM system (Automatic functionality).
  • Responsible for Export Compliance classification on Items including HTS Codes and ECCN/AL Codes, Collaboration with ECC Manager.
  • Ensure that Data sheet and related attributes is registered in the PDM system.
• Assure that the company’s main goals/overall objectives for Health, Environment and Safety are conveyed/communicated and complied with. Ensure/Make sure that HSE is prioritized, planned and implemented on an equal basis with other activities within/adhering to the applicable laws, regulations, contracts and instructions. Authority to impose measures as deemed necessary for compliance with corporate safety programs/systems.

• Technical education on college level or relevant experience
• MS Office knowledge
• MS Excel experience
• 3 years of experience
• Advanced MS Excel experience
• SAP Experience
• Oracle Experience
