We are looking for a Robust Design Lead to join our highly motivated team in the Program Management Office. You will lead and manage the robust design initiatives in Autronica and be a subject matter expert that will help to provide technical assistance, assessment, training and application of robust design tools. As a member of a global RDL organization you will have access to a wide range of expertise in high-tech technology companies.
You will be working directly with WHQ engineering functional leadership and Global Robust Design Leadership. Coordination and communication with design centers, program managers, and other interdisciplinary functions will be expected.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineer or technical/quality project manager with one or more of the following:

HW/SW experience
Quality process knowledge
Project management experience
Robust design experience

In Autronica the job will mean that you need to balance the job as subject matter expert with being a technical development project leader following up the technical development in our ongoing programs. You will work closely with the rest of the technology department, the operations department and project and service department related to robust design competencies.

The role reports to the PMO lead in Autronica, and the global Robust Design contact. Willingness and ability to travel local and abroad as required ( ?15%).

Duties and responsibilities

Active participation in quality reviews, as responsible for robust product development within Autronica
Drive improvement and standardization
Ensure that we maintain robust design skills necessary in Autronica
As a member of the global robust design leadership team you will provide feedback related to best practices and lessons learned
Lead product development projects

Product development processes

Personal qualities

Bachelor degree in Engineering.
Or Project manager experience with focus on quality and engineering processes.
Master degree in Project Management or Engineering, is a plus.
5+ years of experience with product development, project management, quality or field support.
Knowledge and experience with products and regulations related to Fire and Security, is a plus.
Experience in and leading quality processes, with focus on Root Cause Analysis.
RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) knowledge or degree, is a plus.
