Research assistant - Department of Core Facilities

• The candidate will participate providing laboratory services for high-throughput sequencing analysis.
• The applicant will employ different advanced molecular biology techniques for sequencing library construction, sequencing, as well as perform quality control and basic analysis of high-throughput sequencing data.

• The candidate should have an MSc degree with experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics would be an advantage.
• The candidate should have hands-on experience with laboratory work involving different molecular biology techniques, among them working with nucleic acids, PCR and sequencing.
• In addition, competence in bioinformatics (i.e. R and Python) or other molecular biotechnologies (i.e. NanoString and microarrays) will be an advantage.

• Personal characteristics, such as, laboratory accuracy,good and efficient time manage and organization skills, will be given careful consideration.
