Tasks and responsibilities:
• Work as operator/ first line support in Company’s real-time drilling data centre during normal working hours
• Execute workflows related to real-time data setup and quality monitoring by using specialized IT tools
• Support users that have issues related to real-time data (Users can typically be geologists and drilling personnel)
• Troubleshoot, solve problems and communicate with technical specialists in Company and externals
• Continuously improve documentation and contribute to automate work processes in the centre
• Contribute in specification of new functionality in software tools used in the centre together with the RTC DevOps team
• Participate in the Real-time 24/7 duty team (After sufficient training)

Description of the duty tasks:
• Responsible for answering duty-phone
• React on urgent issues within one hour
• Perform daily checks

Duty scheme:
• The workload will typically be one week each month
• Duty is divided into:
- Weekdays (Outside working hours - Monday to Friday)
- Weekends (Outside working hours - Friday to Monday)

Relevant qualifications and competencies:
• Helpdesk support experience
• Customer support experience
• Knowledge about general IT systems
• Bachelor / Master degree in IT, Petroleum or similar
• Experience from offshore drilling operations
• Skilled in Norwegian and English both oral and in writing.
