ABOUT THE ROLE

In cooperation with our partner Scatec Solar, Academic Work is looking for a Project Planner, to support Scatec Solar’s increased demand for projects. The position is a part of the Project Control department, located at the company’s Headquarters in Oslo. The team is working in cross functional teams, and you will report directly to the project manager, with support from the Planning Manager.

JOB DUTIES

As a Project planner you will be involved in the whole project and have various tasks. In other words – you will not be bored! You will for example:

• Assist in developing Milestones
• Update the structuring program on progress and establish the delivery program for the execution phase
• Coordinate schedule from multiple contractors
• Understand contractual matter, identify critical milestones and notifications (PPA analysis)
• Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities on the project, communicate with the team members about activities to be performed and deadlines
• Analyze gaps between planned and actual progress
• Update the project schedule based on work achieved, baseline updates and reporting

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate has experience with:

• 2-5 years working with planning in an EPC organization
• Advanced knowledge of planning tools (Primavera)
• Fluent in English, due to the international context the company are operating within
• Knowledge of the Russian, Ukraine or Kazakh language will be considered as an advantage, but this is not a requirement.

As a person we believe that you are structured and organized by nature, but the most important is your communication skills. You express yourself articulately and clearly in writing and speech and are a good listener. It is also important that you thrive in a dynamic environment and can travel. As a Project Planner you will travel approximately every second month, for one week at the time.
