COST CONTROLLER

Aero Norway is looking for a highly motivated candidate with the ability to work within an intense, high-paced work environment.

Job description

• Ensure accurate and timely production of invoices and estimates for the Customer Support Teams and drive invoice TAT and accuracy Work closely with buyers to ensure timely approval and processing of invoices on time.
• Develop and streamline invoicing process For non PO invoices
• Margin protection/profit analysis – focus on profitability and drive enhancement of shop visit margin.
• Follow up on accounts receivables in collaboration with Customer Support (collection).
• Monthly reporting, sales accruals, analysis on WIP and cost of sales.
• Collaborate with and support Customer Support Team Leaders in post shop visits, invoice and EBIT wash up and drive better understanding of variances in forecasted and actual EBITs.
• Some Ad Hoc Reporting and accounting/Finance Department
• Collect input from a broad range of the organization to assist in establishment of good cost estimates at the start of a new contract up until closure and invoicing
• Interact continuously with both the Finance Control/Accounting department (for gaining access and understanding of actual booked costs) as well as all other departments the Procurement/Commercial departments (for gaining understanding of contract terms and revising cost estimates)
• Assist with preparation of cost estimates by developing and maintaining cost estimation tools
• Track, analyze and assist in understanding costs by contract, in particular when spend looks to be exceeding the authorized value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in economics. If lack of formal qualification, relevant experience can be considered.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
