On behalf of our customer, we are now looking for a Senior Authorized Accountant.
The Senior Accountant will manage a portfolio of clients and must operate autonomously within full compliance of all legal and accounting requirements. The Senior Accountant will also assist and review the work of more junior members of the team. Reports to Head of Accounting & Tax.

Work description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be preparing monthly and quarterly management reports and book keeping for clients (both local and international clients).

Preparing annual financial statements and tax returns
Preparing management accounts (both standalone and consolidated)
Ensuring appropriate accounting controls are implemented and adhered to
Oversee and responsible for VAT compliance and VAT returns and reporting
Liaising with advisors, intermediaries and group offices in the setting up, structuring and ongoing maintenance of client entities

Qualifications

Acts with integrity, good communications skills and strives for high standards of delivery to clients
Ability to handle issues, provide flexible options and recommendations
Understands and applies control and risk and governance frameworks consistently
Experience from the oil industry is an advantage
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
