Hurtigruten is setting up a new team to handle short cruises on the Norwegian coast. We are looking for a Revenue Manager that will help us solve the following optimization puzzle: How do we maximize revenues from 11 ships sailing daily from Bergen to Kirkenes and back and visiting 34 ports on the way? What price schemes will best stimulate demand for local transport and leisure travel between these ports? What price schemes are most suitable for the different distribution channels? These are some of the responsibilities which will be a part the day-to-day for our new Revenue Manager, Port to port at Hurtigruten. The Revenue Manager will report to the VP Port to port and work closely with the Sales team. The position is based in Tromsø.

Tasks

  • You will exercise price and inventory management actively and optimize port to port revenues
  • You will advise and implement revenue plans for the business area in line with company strategy
  • You will report on price and inventory development and budget achievement to management
  • You will improve our forecasting capabilities
  • You will communicate revenue strategies to sales and other stakeholders

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor's or higher Degree
  • You are familiar with revenue management
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You can make decisions quickly and independently
  • You have advanced Excel skills

Education

  • College / University, Bachelor's degree

Language

  • Norwegian
  • English
