Experis is looking for an experienced structural analysis engineer.
We can offer an exciting and challenging position in a highly skilled technical team.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Perform finite element and analytical stress analyses for steel structures
- Participate in concept studies
- Project execution in modification-, new build- and removal projects
- Write technical reports
Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Extensive experience with ANSYS workbench
- 5-10 years of experience in stress analysis using finite element software
- Broad and solid technical skills with very good understanding of engineering mechanics, strength of materials, steel structures
- Familiar with relevant industry standards, e.g. Eurocode 3, EN 13001 and EN 13852
Personal attributes;
- Strong analytical mindset
- Good interpersonal skills - team work oriented across disciplines and organizational boundaries
- Ability to take initiative and to be flexible
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to accurately summarize findings in written report format
You will get the opportunity to work in an international enviroment with offshore equipment and related structures.
The position is located in Trondheim and start up is as soon as possible.
We can offer a 12 month contract for the right candidate.
