ABOUT THE JOB
Nordic Semiconductor is expanding. We are looking to recruit a talented and customer-focused Application Engineer to our highly specialized Technical Support Team. You will have the technical experience and communication skills to meet our customers´ needs with regard to a growing portfolio of products.

A highly motivated individual, you enjoy working in a customer-facing capacity, independently, and as part of a team. You enjoy handling multiple projects concurrently and thrive in detailed ´detective work´ in response to customer communications. You understand the impact of potential modifications to reach solutions with efficiency and accuracy. You enjoy listening, asking the right questions, writing code and investigating. You will draw on your own expertise and a wealth of in-house resources to recreate the customer´s problem and find advanced technical solutions in a timely manner. Some travel is likely for face-to-face customer meetings as well as trade shows. The frequency of travel can be tailored to meet your preferences.

You will be working on a variety of customer support cases related to Nordic Semiconductor’s products, in particular ARM Cortex based RF microcontrollers, running Bluetooth low energy, 802.15.4, LTE-M, NB-IoT and proprietary protocols.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Master/Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical support/ customer services
• Experience in some/all of the following areas:
- RF System measurement
- RF design on PCB level
- Embedded firmware development
• Good English language (written and oral)
