Are you intrigued by complex issues like cancer research and health innovations? We are hiring a content creator who is! 

Oslo Cancer Cluster is looking for a content creator with a fresh take on digital communication. Do you have a talent for writing short and interesting stories about complex research and business issues—in English? Do you know how to make simple and engaging videos? Do you enjoy getting people hooked in social media? Then you might just be the new team member we are looking for!  

The work in Oslo Cancer Cluster
You will be working in a non-profit organisation where science and commercialisation meet. Oslo Cancer Cluster has about 90 members with a clear common interest: to develop new cancer diagnostics and treatments. In the administration we are currently a team of 12 people with various roles. You will be working closely with all of us and your position will be one of two full time positions in communications.

In our communications work we disseminate stories about the research, the business and the politics behind innovative approaches to better cancer treatments. We also create meeting places to enhance collaborations and spread new knowledge.

The job includes
Creating brilliant content for our webpages, social media channels and newsletter.
Creating videos as part of the content.
Capturing moments. Photography does not have to be your mission in life, but you sure have to like doing it and do it well.
Having new ideas of how we can reach out and get our messages through.
Helping with events and projects where needed.

You should have
A relevant higher education.
Outstanding English language skills.
Experience with digital content making and web based publishing.
Experience with a camera and editing tools.
A structured mind with the ability to plan ahead and make those plans happen.
A collaborative attitude.

A two year full time position with the possibility of prolongation.

A modern office space in the Oslo Cancer Cluster Incubator with start-ups, scientists, labs, investors, pharmaceutical companies, other companies and Ullern Upper Secondary School.

Oslo Cancer Cluster is an oncology research and industry cluster dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients by accelerating the development of new cancer diagnostics and treatment.

We are a national non-profit member organization with about 90 members. Our members are Norwegian and international companies, research and financial institutions, university hospitals and organizations – all working in the cancer field. They represent the entire oncology value chain, doing everything from exploratory research to selling therapeutics and diagnostics to global markets.

Oslo Cancer Cluster was founded in 2006. In 2007, we became a Norwegian Centre of Expertise. Since then, we have developed into a strong biotech cluster well positioned in the global oncology industry.
