Can you take full ownership of our documentation process and develop your own role?

IT Clearing Services is a department in Nets developing and maintaining interbank clearing services for the Nordic and the international market. Our real-time payment product “Real-Time 24/7” is a state of the art solution currently being developed for the international market. Real time payment infrastructure, often referred to as the “future rails of payment”, is the new norm and the market opportunities are significant. 

To help us answer the increasing demand for our services and scale up our organization, we are seeking a Technical Writer who can take full ownership of the documentation process. Documentation is a key part of our products and the person responsible for it needs to be able to develop and take responsibility for the process, communicate clearly at all levels of the organization, understand the technical architecture, and continuously expand their domain expertise.

This position is new to the department and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role.

Key responsibilities:

In the role you will be working with technical staff and domain experts who will provide input that you will transform into relevant documentation. You will be responsible for the document's quality and layout and for ensuring stakeholder sign-off before delivery. Working with those parameters you will be tasked with developing the QA process for documentation. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Technical documentation for Realtime 24/7 products
• Maintain and develop QA process for documentation across the department
• Participate in client workshops
• Hold training courses for clients
• Participate in pre-sales activities

Required qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who can use their technical experience in Information Technology, strong communications and team working skill to create professional documentation and establish a robust process around it. The required qualifications include:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology or similar
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience from a similar position
• Experience from Information Technology
• Professional fluency in English

Among the preferred qualifications are experience from the payments industry, with working in a distributed environment, and with process design and improvements.
