For our client, a well reputed FMCG company with a turnover of NOK 1.2 Billons, we are looking for a clever Business Controller for a 12 months maternity leave assignment.

The position reports to the Financial Director in Norway and will work closely with Group Finance and Financial Reporting Centre in Sweden as well as the operations and commercial controllers in Norway.The business controller will have an important advisor role to the country management team and deliver high quality decision support.

Typical Accountability:

The position will have the overall responsibility for
- Cost controlling (incl. forecast, budget and meeting with every department)
- General balance sheet control
- Management reporting (comments and figures)
- Cash and working capital forecasting, management and reporting
- Ad-hoc analyses
Provide high quality and accurate reports to management and Group
An important part of the responsibilities is to identify areas of improvement in accounting procedures, financial management and reporting structure, and be a part of implementing changes and improvements
Ensure correct internal controls and procedures including SOX
Process responsible for Budget, estimates and annual accounts
Project management

Contribute to team-work and operational excellence

An analytical and service minded attiude is required. Good knowledge and command of Excel and Powerpoint are required. Experience with SAP is an advantage.

You will work closely with the Financial Director and 3 other Business Controllers in Norway. The office is located west of Oslo.

Start up during September will ensure some overlap with current Business Controller before she starts her maternity leave.
