Tasks
• Designing, developing, testing, and debugging software applications
• Developing automated unit and functional tests
Required Qualifications Include:
- 7+ years' expertise knowledge of .NET and how to construct applications using the platform
- Experience working with OPC UA
- Skilled with data logging and Historian databases (e.g. OSIsoft PI)
- Skilled with relational and NoSQL database technologies (e.g. MSSQL, MongoDB)
- Strong experience developing/managing REST and SOAP-based Web Service API(s)
- Past work experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, OPC, MODBUS and other industrial networking communication protocols
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and work with Product Management to refine incomplete specifications and negotiate feature requirements
- Able to discuss technical alternatives rationally and impartially, can accept criticism of design, and assess technical costs and trade-offs.
