As a Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Manager you will ensure access to patients through health economic modelling, analyzing real-world data and delivering relevant health economic data and budget impact models to meet reimbursement authorities requirements. In addition, you will take on a strategic and operational responsibility in preparing and submitting Health Technology Assessments (HTA) and build sustainable relationships with Payers and key influencers. As a HEOR Manager, you will possess a deep understanding of Pharma products societal and economic impact, and being able to engage in trust-based conversations with healthcare decision makers, regulators and opinion leaders. The HEOR manager will support the development of innovative engagement tools, outcome research and data analysis. Overall responsibilities are to help minimize market access hurdles and to ensure that our most important brands are funded/reimbursed. You will be a part of a small, social and highly engaged local Market Access team working closely with the Nordic organization, but also supporting other functions locally in Norway.

Key responsibilities: 

• Development and submission of HTAs, based on payer insights and in co-operation with the local Market Access team
• Adapting global health economic models and obtaining appropriate data inputs to accurately populate the cost-effectiveness models to reflect local environments
• Compiling clinical and health economic evidence to demonstrate the value of our compounds in order to achieve, or maintain reimbursement
• Preparing local health economic value propositions to secure optimal market uptake of our launched and mature brands 
• Develop evidence and innovative tools such as interactive budget impact models, publications and other communication material to engage with external stakeholders 
• Contribute to build a payer insights platform by engaging customer on advisory boards and networks in collaboration with the cross-functional brand team
• Proactively support the cross-functional brand teams in strategic and tactical planning of health economic research activities and resolution of complex issues, which may impact market access decisions and evidence for products 
• Analyzing payer requirements and business opportunities deriving from RWE, registries and phase IV studies

Minimum requirements:

• University degree in economics, business, science, or mathematics
• Graduate degree in economics or business
• Graduate or post-graduate specialization in health economics
• English: good written and spoken
• Norwegian: fluently 
• 2-5 year experience in health economics, consultancy business or other Market Access related roles
• Excellent understanding of health care environment, and experience in interactions with reimbursement agencies and other health care decision makers
• Record of health economics publications (academic/governmental) desirable
• Understanding of Pharma product pricing and reimbursement processes
