We are urgently looking for Data & Analytics developers to join our core development team located in Asker, Norway. As the global focus on marine litter, plastic pollution and the circular economy intensifies, TOMRA continues to deliver on innovations to make collection and recycling of used beverage containers more efficient, more attractive, and more relevant. It is what we have been doing since 1972. New markets are opening in Australia, UK and other European countries, and the need for digital services to deliver on these new opportunities are increasing by the day. Some of the functionalities we are working on include:
- E-payment services for consumers, as well as engaging features such as e-vouchers, donation and retail loyalty scheme integration through our consumer service, myTOMRA
- Money data clearing, financial reporting, and master data integrations
- Operational tools to remotely monitor and configure ~80,000 reverse vending machines
- Business intelligence and analytics solutions
- Preventive and predictive technical service features
- Digital signage and consumer marketing functionalities
- Exploratory application of machine learning technologies
TOMRA is once again pioneering its industry, this time through offering digital solutions to enable and drive more recycling. TOMRA Collection Solutions Digital, established in 2014 as an intrapreneurial unit, is a fast-moving team delivering our new and future-oriented cloud-based solutions. Demand for digital solutions is growing rapidly and we need to expand our core team of developers, to create digital products that motivate and reward all people involved in the chain of recycling.
We’re extending our team
We are looking for experienced developers to join the team that develops the next generation of Digital services for TOMRA reverse vending machines, built on Amazon Web Services. The team is small and has the freedom to choose the right technology for the tasks at hand. All developers have responsibility for the product lifecycle from design and implementation to operations. We strive to have a high degree of automation and continuous delivery.
As an analytics developer, you will be involved in designing and building new services within data processing, reporting and analysis/BI. You will be responsbile for defining, optimizing and developing our distributed data orocessing stack in the cloud. The responsibility includes real-time data ingestion and data ingestion for reporting and analysis.
