GE Vingmed Ultrasound AS is looking for a Materials and production planner

Role Summary/Purpose:

The position is organized within the logistics group but the daily work is in close collaboration with the production teams and the customer care team.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Interface with order dep. and optimize materials and production planning from supplier 
  Reports in GE tools and Excel.
• Participate and/or run improvement projects.
• Maintain backlog statistics.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) from a project and systems perspective.
• Working closely with Finance to ensure respective models reflect actual materials data.
• Accomplish inventory and financial analyses, following-up on and driving closure of variances.
• Order materials to our production.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management (or related field) or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Relevant experience within planning, purchasing, or production management.
• Newly qualified candidates, preferable within relevant master programs will be considered.

Desired Characteristics:

• Analytic, able to work independent and together in a cross functional team.
• Understanding in ERP/MRP tools, good skill in excel, and able to utilize multiple applications for reporting and pulling data.
• Experience in a cross functional, highly matrixed organization which is clearly regulated by quality and corporate standards.
• Write and speak Norwegian, good English skills.
