Discipline Engineer Field Instrumentation | Hammerfest

Main tasks:
Discipline contributor for technical planning toward appropriate completion of maintenance and asset integrity scopes
Provide engineering support in relation to subject matter expertise, in order to contribute to safe and efficient operations
Accountable as representative for instrumentation operational areas, such as: machinery equipment protection instrumentation, power generation package instrumentation, flow/pressure/temperature/level indicators & transmitters, positioners/actuators, vibration (hardwire and wireless)
Ensure that the plant’s equipment are operated and maintained in accordance with internal and external requirements, procedures, best practices and concepts
Identify and propose possible improving modifications to optimize plant integrity and performance
Contribute to resolution of fault findings or discipline Root Cause analyses
Elaborate relevant criticality assessment and prioritization analyses, for systems and areas
Enforces and promote the correct use of Company’s tools and software application (e.g SAP, Trace, Barrier Pannel, Metso,Valve watching, SAS, etc) for the correct implementation of workflow
Support the system owners in troubleshootting and prioritisation of critical workorders in the instrument devices for the maintenance plan.
Contribute to maintenance plan optimization and quality check of notifications/WOs
Ensure correct procedures, method of statements and documentation for maintenance plan
Ensure maintenance plan is followed up according to compay procedures avoiding backlog in SCE

Education:
Technical Engineer degree

Experience:
5 years within relevant area
SAP Maintenance module
Need a good professional foundation within above mentioned area of instrumentation

English, fluent
Norwegian, fluent
