Corvus Energy is seeking a QHSE Manager in Bergen

Position Summary The Quality & EMS Manager’s role is to manage Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems for the Bergen site. The position reports to the QHSE Director. 
 

Responsibilities
•To develop, implement and maintain:

- Quality Management system program as per ISO 9001-2015

- Environmental Management system as per ISO 14001-2015

- Health & Safety Management Program as per legal requirements

•Liaise with other department and suppliers for NCRs, CARs & PARs 

•Supplier evaluation and audit as per ISO 19011

•Plan and Conduct ISO 9001 & 14001 Internal audits 

•Responsible for external ISO and customer audits 

•Implement cost of quality analysis and calculation 

•Implement and maintain Calibration system

•Implement Risk management system

•Liaise with production department for product quality inspections

•Other tasks and duties, as required.

Requirements 

•Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering

•Minimum of 5 years of experiences in quality, environmental and safety management

•Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing

•Detailed working knowledge of:

- Cost of Quality calculation

- Supplier Quality audit and Supplier quality management

- DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Statistical Analysis

 - Internal audit as per ISO 9001 & 14001

- Risk management concepts 

•A track record of delivering quality, health, safety and environment systems

•Experience of working successfully within a matrix environment

•Able to manage improvement projects as needed

•Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and Visio, knowledge of Jira and Wiki is an asset

•Excellent written and verbal English skills

•Ability to build credibility, trust, and rapport with stakeholders at all levels

•Proactive and sophisticated management of key stakeholders

•A forward thinker who takes initiative to identify and resolve gaps

•A proactive problem solver and communicator
