Structural 3D Modelling and Method Assistance

Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Stavanger is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions' Structural & Marine department based in Stavanger, Norway consists of 60 well qualified and experienced engineers.

We need an experienced Structural 3D Modeller who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the market.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Structural 3D modelling  and assistance to the structural and construction method engineers
• Simplified modelling showing scope, areas and sequences of work 
• Modelling of temporary steel, lifting arrangements and visualization of removal sequences for major items
• Creative ideas and proactively assist the construction engineers are an important part of the job

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• An experienced and practically oriented structural 3D PDMS engineer
• Good performing in general modelling and with reasonable understanding of methods
• Team oriented and proactive 
• IT System: PDMS, SAP, TIME
• Offshore course is an advantage, but not a strict requirement
• Microstation knowledge would also be good in addition to PDMS
• Language requirements: English and Norwegian
