Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a Technical support Engineer to join our Technical Team.
The Technical Team supports the workshop and offshore operation and helps improve profitability, efficiency and processes in Wireline.
The Technical support Engineer reports directly to the Technical Maintenance Manager.

Key responsibilities
Support and assist the on- and offshore organization with technical issues
Ensure that equipment and documentation  is according to applicable regulations and standards
Request and purchase of part to stock, operation and technical team
Contribute with technical requirements during procurement of new equipment
Responsible for acquiring 3rd party service assistance when required.
Continuously look for areas to improve related to equipment, procedures, performance of the work etc.
Contribute with technical assistance during transition to a digital workflow
Be prepared to lead technical projects when required
 

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor – or Technical College degree with in electro , automation or relevant bachelor degree.
Certificate of apprenticeship will bee preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical- and electrical equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Norwegian.
Excellent skills in Word and Excel.
Used to write technical documentations such as reports, procedures and check lists

Have the ability to work on several complex tasks simultaneously, and be comfortable with a high pace working environment
Be proactive, enjoy and pursuit learning new skills as required
Prepared to contribute hands on in an workshop environment, as well as in the office.
