Maintenance Engineer

Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Stavanger is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions' Maintenance department based in Stavanger, Norway consists of 35 qualified and experienced engineers.

We are now looking for Maintenance Engineers who can strengthen our team in Stavanger.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• We require a candidate that is good at innovative thinking and problem solving
• The role will be a part of a growing team with various responsibilities within Maintenance Engineering including development of maintenance programs & routines and preparation of technical & functional hierarchy
• The candidate will be responsible to ensure that the maintenance deliveries are of high quality and according to project specification and plan

Qualifications and Personal Qualities: 

• Degree in engineering
• Experience from working offshore or as a part of an operation team will be considered as an advantage 
• Good knowledge of maintenance of mechanical equipment 
• Good knowledge of maintenance management governing procedures from the major operators in Norway 
• Extensive experience within establishment of preventive maintenance programs 
• Knowledge of technical barrier management and maintenance of barriers 
• IT tools: SAP, Kamfer, BiCycle, FCat
• Language requirements: English and Norwegian
