Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Bergen is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions Safety & Environment department based in Bergen consists of highly qualified Safety & Environment engineers. The engineers are involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from smaller Front End Studies to Major Modification Projects and various Specialist Services.

We now have an opening for position as Senior Working Environment Engineer in Aker Solutions Bergen.

Responsibilities and Tasks: 

• Responsible for working environment design, activities and deliverables in the project
• Organize and perform Working Environment Health Risk Assessment (WEHRA), WE design reviews and layout reviews
• Follow-up and close out of actions.
• Human Factors engineering is part of delivery incl. relevant review activities and reports
• Prepare reports and technical notes as required, typical CHRA, operability analysis etc.
• Follow-up and coordination of noise engineering is part of the WE engineering's responsibility
• Clarification of issues and questions raised by other disciplines related to WE (access, chemicals etc.)

Qualifications and Personal Qualities: 

• Experience from WE engineering and design of offshore installations, activities and deliverables in modification project
• Experience / Knowledge of HF engineering
• Language Skills: written and oral Norwegian and English
• Offshore Course: No
