Workshop Lead Electrician

We seek a skilled and experienced electrician with extensive experience within E&I installation on offshore drilling equipment. This person will participate in a team of competent colleagues with responsibilities for assembly, completion and testing of equipment in the workshop.

Responsibilities and tasks 

• Responsible for E&I installation, troubleshooting and testing of drilling equipment in the workshop
• Lead the daily work on the products according to plan
• Supervision and daily follow up of electrical contractor
• Adhere to MHWirth’s vision, values, strategies, policies, standards and procedures

Qualifications & personal attributes

• Fagbrev Gruppe L or A
• Familiar with NORSOK requirements
• Experience as a lead or manager
• G4 Overhead Crane certificate and T4 Forklift certificate  
• Curious on new technology, and ability to acquire new knowledge quickly
• Creative and passionate interested in finding good solutions
• Engaged in delivering quality results
• Flexible, and is motivated by working with continuous improvements
• Team oriented, and independent
