Computer-aided surgery systems are changing the way we understand and deliver
treatment for cancer. Particularly in liver cancer, computer-aided surgery
systems are helping surgeons to plan the treatment and perform the
intervention with very high precision.

In NorMIT (Norwegian Centre for Minimally Invasive Therapy), we aim to provide
an environment for research and innovation in medical technology within minimally
invasive interventions and image-guided procedures. Currently NorMIT is a
collaboration between The Intervention Centre at Oslo University Hospital and
St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim with both acting as operation centres for the
project.

NorMIT is currently looking for a skilled and creative software developer with

opportunity to contribute to NorMIT-Plan (software for planning liver resection
procedures within the NorMIT project) and its software/hardware infrastructure
as well as interact with an exciting team of researchers in medicine and
medical technology.

Working environment:

This position will take place at The Intervention Centre in Oslo University
Hospital. The Intervention Centre is a unique multi-disciplinary research centre
where engineers and clinicians work together to innovate in medicine and medical
technology through research and development activities. The Intervention Centre
