Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for all the technical competences required to follow-up equipment and  processes downstream of the x-mas trees, e.g. subsea inst. and pipelines, transportations and processing, rotating and electrical equipment, productions operations. Your will also be responsible for developing and updating the company's Management System for the engineering discipline.  In particular we are looking for candidates which can demonstrate skilled application within the are of;

  • Capital Value Processes
  • Project Definition, Communication, Administration and Implementation
  • Cost and Quality Control
  • Multi-phase Flow Systems and Flow Assurance in pipeline design and operation
  • Risk Assessment and hazard identification study objectives and techniques in projects
  • Pre-Commissioning,  Commissioning, handover and acceptance criteria
  • The candidate will be directly involved in supporting our current and future portfolio of assets and project activities. The right candidate will be considered for a future role as Project Manager for PGNiG operated field developments
  • Cooperate with Asset Manager to influence operators and partners in license activities and decisions. Participate and represent PGNiG in Technical/advisory Management Committees
  • Assist HSEQ Manager in ensuring PGNiG's management system is updated at all times and meet relevant Norwegian rules and regulations
  • Maintain and coordinate the PGNiG Risk Matrix for licenses and ensure that it is kept up to date. Initiate, participate and influence risk assessments in production licenses and ensure that operators keep a risk register up to date at all times
  • See to it that technical, operational and HSEQ requirements are set for the full life cycle of offshore facilities and compliant with company and regulatory requirements
  • Perform early phase evaluations and field development studies. Development of screening cost estimates and schedules
  • Participate in technical audits as appropriate, including offshore and fabrication site visits
  • Provide input to licensing rounds and assist B in asset valuations. Participate in data room evaluations
  • Participate in planning, executing and follow up technical review/verifications (Peer Reviews/Assists, HAZOP's FAT's etc.)

Qualifications

Master of Science, Bachelor of Science or similar degree

Personal qualities

  • Min. 8 years of broad experience from engineering, project development, operations and maintenance of offshore process plants and systems, subsea and topsides
  • Experience with Questor
  • Multi discipline understanding
  • Expert knowledge of Norwegian rules and regulations and standards
  • Strong interest in HSEQ
  • Fluent oral and written skills in Norwegian and English

The Skarv and Vilje fields and the Ærfugl and the Skogul projects are operated by AkerBP, the Gina Krog and Morvin fields are operated by Equinor and the Vale field is operated by Spirit Energy. These assets provide a stable basis for our strategic plan to further expand our presence on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
