Integration and Trading engineer for the Nordic´s leading financial software company

Who we are
Over 40 trillion US Dollars’ worth of shares are traded each year on the worlds stock-exchanges through billions of trades and many billions of orders. Together with funds, bonds, all other types of financial instruments, news-feeds and research reports, this becomes an enormous deluge of information. 

For 20 years Infront has developed software that helps our users to make sense of this enormous mountain of data. We deliver the most user-friendly and flexible solutions in the financial markets, helping institutions reduce costs, adapt to fast changing market requirements and be able to work more effectively with increasing amounts of information.

Infront is located in London, Paris, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Cape Town and Johannesburg, and now we want to expand our team to deliver even better services to even more customers.
 
Who we need
We need an integration specialist that can work with new and existing customers with regards to integration with our trading platform – Infront Connect.

Our ideal candidate have all (or most) of these characteristics:

• You should be a hands-on, technically skilled and motivated individual with a very high willingness to learn new things
• Some system integration skills
• Fluent in English and ideally at least one Scandinavian language
• Ability to keep a high spirit even under pressure
• Self-motivated with high ability to deliver
• Service oriented and with a self-starter mentality

What you will be doing
You will be part of our Trading Systems and Integrations team, and you will be working from our office in Stockholm or Oslo. You will be working together with the team and integrating customer trading solutions with Infront’s trading platform - Infront Connect.

The team looks after and provides supports for a variety of customers with one of their most critical systems – their trading solutions.

The job is very varied – from urgent incident handling to implementation, architecture and potentially supporting sales with technical pre-sales. You will participate in small to medium sized projects and be our face towards the customer in some of our most important deliveries.

What you need to know
You should be familiar with some of the following tools and technologies:

• FIX protocol or exchange trading systems
• XML, JSON, SOAP, REST
• System integration
• Database technology (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Distributed architecture
• Software development skills is a bonus

While experience from the finance industry is a plus, you will learn all you need about trading and the finance industry in this position.

Your background
You have a degree in computer science (or something similar). Ideally you have 3 years or more relevant working experience, but if you are newly educated and confident in your skills we encourage you to apply.
