Kvaerner is a market leader in the Norwegian oil and gas market, and is now preparing for new projects where the Improvement department is a key to successful delivery of these projects.

The Improvement department is responsible for evaluation of proposed improvements, as well as executing improvement projects and implementing the developed technology and methodology. Our main responsibility is to ensure the competitive edge of Kvaerner.

As part of Kvaerner’s digitalisation program we are establishing digital twins for the yards at Stord and Verdal, as well as increasing the number of sensors at the yards that deliver information to the digital twins.

In that regard we are seeking the right person to develop and take ownership of this newest addition to our infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Concept development
• Architecture development
• Technology evaluation
• Solution piloting
• Roll-out & deployment
• Participate actively in Kvaerner’s digitalisation program

Qualifications & personal attributes:
- Master of Science Degree (Bachelor degree with relevant work experience can be considered)
- 3-7 years technology development or software engineering experience is desireable
- Strong oral and written communication skills both in Norwegian and English
