Are you the experienced Material engineer we are looking for?

Aker Solutions in Trondheim has an open hire-in position as Material engineer working in our M&M contract portfolio. The material technology group consists of 8 well qualified and experienced engineers covering both topside and subsea projects within the areas; material selections, corrosion evaluation, cathodic protection, fracture mechanics, welding technology, surface preparation, protective coating and insulation.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Perform material selections, define surface protection and evaluate insulation alternatives
• Inspection activities at material manufactures site
• Ensure deliveries in accordance with contract requirements 

Qualifications & personal attributes:

• MSc Material technology and minimum 5 years of experience
• Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
• Good communication skills, pro-active and interested team worker 
• Software Skills: TIME
• Language Skills: Oral and written Norwegian and English
