• Accountant for subsidiaries in Norway and abroad
• Scanning of invoices
• Travel expenses
• Monthly, quarterly and year-end reconciliations
• VAT filing
• Tax filing and statutory reports for Norwegian subsidiaries
• Bank payments
Functions and responsibilities (People & Processes):
• Responsible for the accounts of subsidiaries in Norway and abroad, including reconsolidation between external local accountant and internal accounting system
• Manage travel expenses; control, payments and assist the employees
• Scanning invoices for all companies
• Responsible for intercompany reconciliations
• Responsible for maintaining fixed asset registry
• Assist on payments and bank reconciliations
• Assist controllers with information, reports and reconsolidation
Required qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within accounting
• Experience with IFS or other large ERP systems.
Personal skills:
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
• Resourceful and solution oriented
• Positive, outgoing and service minded
• Motivated to develop the role and increase skills in accounting
