Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Alva Motor Solutions

Alva is a leading technology firm within the field of high-performance electric composite motors and generators. 

We are a fully financed company based in Trondheim, Norway. Our core business areas are in designing, prototyping and manufacturing electric composite motors and generators using our proprietary production technologies. We are currently looking for a highly skilled person for the position as Chief Technology Officer.

Responsibilities 

• Project management: Manage and report on large R&D projects with international project partners. 
  
• Quality assurance: Oversee and control internal production, product development processes and products. Develop routines and processes for employees. 
  
• Supply chain management: Communication with development partners, suppliers and subcontractors.
  
• Intellectual property management: Identify and secure intellectual property and expand Alva`s patent portfolio to maintain competitive advantages. 
  
• Technical business development: Planning and incorporating visionary development plans and targets. 
  

About the applicant

• You have a relevant engineering background (Ph.D., M.Sc., or similar)
  
• You have experience as a Sr. Engineer, Project Manager, head of R&D or similar.
  
• You are a good communicator in both English and Norwegian. 
  
• You are structured, analytical, and have a business-mindset. 
  
• You are curious by nature and an easy learner. 
  
• You are interested in not just a job but a personal project.
