Would you like to be the one that connects the content of the entire Microsoft suite to the intelligent cloud? As the Graph- and People services organization in Microsoft, we are building graph capabilities into the core of Office 365. Our vision is to let partners within Microsoft utilize our capabilities to unlock the enormous potential sitting in the Office 365 data. To do this we are creating clean and effective APIs accessible from micro-services running in Azure or other fabrics within Microsoft. Our software is powering multiple scenarios for hundreds of million users every day.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive a service area by understanding relevant market needs, developing roadmap, plans and priorities through interaction with internal and external partner teams across the globe.
  • Develop visions and goals for your area together with domain experts within Microsoft, define high-level strategies, technical specifications and even detailed implementation plans.
  • Effectively apply service- and market knowledge together with project management skills to deliver success in a work-environment that spans teams and time zones.
  • You collaborate with partners across Microsoft that wants to contribute INTO the graph, and partners that want to query FROM the graph.
  • For each of these you maintain onboarding procedures, and you are familiar with current pains. You continuously work to make this easier and more convenient for everyone.
  • You make sure that expectations put forward on our services are sound, and that the right stakeholders are involved to cover all requirements. You champion the investments that deliver the most return, and you own all partner-communication on state and progress.
  • You maintain personal relationships with the SharePoint and OneDrive groups in Microsoft to stay up-to-date on planned and incoming changes that should be captured in our services. You make sure that any new alignment-challenge is captured and resolved long before the need to ship.

 

Qualifications

  • Master's or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related technical disciplines.
  • Experience from working with big data and distributed systems.
  • Experience from working in cross-team projects.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft products and services.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage project risks.
  • Ability to impact and influence business decisions.
  • Confident, solution- and result oriented, independent worker.
  • Dynamic presenter and facilitator skills.
  • You have experience from working with SharePoint Online, and you understand its concepts and data layout well enough to have a technical conversation with its engineers or managers.
