Exciting position within Data Management

Eni Norge is strengthening its Subsurface Data Management Team with a Scientific Application & Data Management Engineer with main focus on seismic, digitalisation projects for the subsurface data asset and data governance.
Data Management in Eni Norge AS is responsible for the quality of raw and interpreted Geophysical data and the quality of well data in Master Database,  according to internal and external procedures and operational instructions
Data Management develop and maintains the relevant operational instructions and ensure compliance with authority regulations, corporate and internal requirements.
The Scientifi Application & Data Management Engineer position, reports to the Information and Data Management Manager.

Main Tasks:
• Seismic
o Handle data requests, create and make relevant overview reports/maps available for users; applies to both internal and external sources.
o Maintain, load and QC Seismic volumes and related data like velocity and interpretation to Eni database (OpenWorks/Petrel).
o Project Data Management (OpenWorks/Petrel).
o Download seismic and related data from Diskos.
o Import/export seismic and interpretation data between internal software.
o Follow-up reporting of seismic data to Diskos.
o Manage Data rooms.

• Data Management project and business processes management
o Implement and maintain the data management work processes
? Govern and follow-up together with Reservoir, Exploration and Drilling
? Maintain relevant governing documents
o Key player in the NPD Completeness Program for NCS in Eni Norge
o Key player in the digitalization program form subsurface data starting in 2018 in Eni Norge

Education
Bachelor or master degree in natural science or engineering discipline. (Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir, Petroleum Engineering or an IT degree with relevant experience form the E&P industry.

Experience
• 10+ years relevant experience from oil & gas industry
• In-depth knowledge of data management business processes
• Good knowledge on market leading subsurface tools
o OpenWorks (Corporate database)
o Petrel
o Recall
o GIS
o Diskos
