Vi leter etter en frontend utvikler til vår utviklingsavdeling på Fornebu (rett utenfor Oslo). Din rolle vil være å implementere brukergrensesnittene for våre nye produkter. Kratos Communications (som vi i Kratos Norway er del av) har valgt Angular rammeverk som hovedteknologi for utvikling av nye brukergrensesnitt. Du vil hovedsaklig jobbe med resten av teamet i Kratos Norway, men også samarbeide med andre Kratos Communications ansatte i USA (New Hampshire og Silicon Valley).

Kratos Communications er markedsledende for bakkebaserte monitorerings- og kontroll- løsninger for satellittindustrien. Du vil delta i alle deler av frontend utviklingens livssyklus, fra initsielle ideer, kravspesifikasjoner, iterativ design, implementasjon og testing, til integrasjon inn i ferdig produkt. Vi fokuserer på modulært design med gjenbruk av flere frontend-komponenter, da vi sikter på å få en mer felles brukergrensesnittopplevelse på tvers av de ulike produktene.

Vi ser etter en person som:

• Fortrinnsvis har utdanning innen IT. Arbeidserfaring og kunnskap innen frontend utvikling kan kompensere for dette
• Har interesse og kunnskap om utvikling av moderne Web-baserte løsninger, med bruk av JavaScript rammeverk som f.eks. Angular eller React
• Har erfaring med REST API og kommunikasjon over HTTP
• Har erfraing med andre frontend relaterte teknologier som WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protocol Buffers
• Har annen programmeringserfaring
• Har kunnskap om distribuerte systemer, f.eks. microservicer
• Har erfaring med Agile/Scrum prosjektgjennomføring
• Har kjennskap til Atlassian verktøy (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo ++)
• Har erfaring med Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
• Er komfortabel med å jobbe i team, men også kan arbeide selvstendig og på eget initiativ

Would you like to work with frontend development for our satellite communications software applications? If so, keep reading!

We search a frontend developer to be part of our software development team located at Fornebu (just outside Oslo). Your role will be to implement the user interfaces for our new products. Kratos Communications (which Kratos Norway is part of) has selected the Angular framework as main technology for the development of the Kratos Communications product portfolio new user interfaces. You will mainly be working with the rest of the development team in Kratos Norway, but also collaborate with other Kratos Communications product teams in the US (mainly Silicon Valley and New Hampshire).

Kratos Communications is the market leader for ground segment monitoring and control solutions for the satellite industry. You will participate in all parts of the frontend development lifecycle, from initial ideas, via first requirements specification, iterative design/implementation/requirements refining, tests, and integration into final product. We focus on modular design with reuse of some core frontend components, as we target to align our products and get a more common user experience across our various applications.

We look for a person who:

• Preferably has education within IT domain. Work experience and knowledge within frontend development can compensate for this.
• Has interest and knowledge about development of modern Web-based solutions using JavaScript framework e.g. Angular or React
• Has experience with REST API and communication over HTTP
• Has experience with other frontend related technologies like WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protocol Buffers
• Has experience with other programming languages
• Has knowledge about distributed systems, e.g. using microservices
• Has experience with Agile/Scrum project methodology
• Has knowledge about Atlassian toolchain (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo ++)
• Has experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment - Automated testing
• Is comfortable with working in teams, but can also work independently and self-driven
