We are looking for Mobile Developers

FARA AS is facing strong international expansion with new products and features, and we are seeking highly motivated Mobile Developers.

Role and Responsibilities:
FARA is looking for Mobile Developers with experience in either iOS, Android or React Native development who will join our skilled team. You will be developing on a brand new and ground breaking mobile application for public transportation, that will be used by thousands. You will have a high degree of independence on architecture, technologies and tools used within the project. You will cooperate with the team’s Product Owner and a team of designers to ensure the best possible usability.

Preferred general requirements and skills:
• Higher education
• Good communication skills (written and verbal English)
• Use of Test-Driven development methodologies
• Experience with Git 
• Strong technical and design skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Experience with animation and User Interface implementation
• Experience in REST web service-oriented apps

Preferred competencies for iOS Developers:
• Core Data – the basics + multiple managed context, versioning and migration, improve performance
• Expert level in Swift and Objective-C
• Experience in reactive programming in Swift (RxSwift, PromiseKit)
• Knowledge about iOS UI guidelines
• Experience in programming with React Native

Preferred competencies for Android Developers:
• Expert level in Android SDK
• Experience in RxJava, Kotlin and Jetpack
• Knowledge about Android UI guidelines
• Experience in programming with React Native

Preferred competencies for React Native:
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript
• Solid experience with React Native
• Mobile development experience, preferably with React Native
• Experience writing client-side JavaScript using React, React Native, Redux (or equivalent technologies)
• Solid understanding of CSS and browser differences
