We are growing our business and looking for highly motivated personnel for our fiber optic logging and well intervention services. We prefer candidates with permanent residence in the Stavanger area and a minimum of 3 years offshore wireline logging experience. The positions report to the Operations Manager.

Field Engineer - Fiber optic and conventional cased hole logging

- Bachelor or master's degree within relevant petroleum disciplines

- Minimum 3 years fiber optic or conventional cased hole logging experience



Wireline Operator (Brønnteknikker)

- Craft certificate in wireline operations and preferably technical college (teknisk fagskole) degree in well intervention

- Minimum 3 years offshore wireline experience



Key Activities and Accountabilities:

  • Execute field operations with fiber-optic cable/sensors in accordance with job program, procedures, project documentation and checklists
  • Rigging up/down Capline unit, related equipment, and downhole tools at the well site
  • Carry out DTS/DAS data acquisition, well integrity and flow profile logging. Manage and analyze data, prepare job reports
  • Operate the Capline unit and related equipment at the well site, perform routine checks and tests
  • Service mechanical tools and devices and preparing/making cable heads
  • Completing job-related paperwork and other records for self and crew
  • Actively comply with HSE policies, procedures, and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and the safety of others
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety, and planning meetings when required
  • Ensure all aspects of the job program is clearly understood and actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable quality policies, procedures, processes, and systems. Identify and report any deficiencies and obtain authorization for any deviations from procedures and job program
  • Liaise with client representatives and colleagues in a professional manner and take an active part in quality improvement processes
  • Work at the onshore base when required, preparing for jobs and performing tool maintenance, pre-job and post- job tool checkout, and maintenance after the return of equipment
  • Undertake checks on equipment for compliance with standards and procedures and ensure it is technically correct and fit for the operation being carried out
  • Participate in development projects and testing of new products and services
  • Prepare and update technical documentation and procedures
  • Participate in training courses and seminars when required and ensure that objectives set under the Employee Development Plan are met
  • Actively work with subordinates to share knowledge and assist with their competency progression


  Other qualifications

  • IWCF Level 4 - Wireline - pressure control certificate
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian language
  • Good knowledge of QHSE work and an outstanding QHSE attitude
  • Excellent IT/IS, Excel and Word skills
  • Valid offshore certificates and safety training
  • Strong team player with leadership skills, who also can work independently
  • Structured, analytical and creative
  • Constructive, flexible and positive
