Operational Purchaser

The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic team of Operational Purchasers and will work closely with the rig organization onshore and offshore.  We are looking for a candidate with a can do attitude that is motivated by a hectic working environment.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management. Experience within procurement for an offshore unit in operation or mobilization may compensate for lack of formal education
• Fluent in spoken and written Norwegian
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Good ERP system skills

Key responsibilities:

• Rig procurement according to approved requisitions and internal procedures (spares, consumables, equipment repair and modifications, various services etc.) 
• Cooperate and support internal clients onshore and offshore; seek to be a valued team member
• Follow up of suppliers and deliverables to the offshore installation(s)
• Development of company Approved Vendors List when needed
• Participate in the development and improvement of procurement processes and procedures
• Monitor and verify cost related to POs (change order management and invoice verification/processing)
• Act as a good ambassador for Global Business Support, SCM
