Facility Manager

For a Stavanger-based client, we are seeking a Facility Manager for a long term-assignment, with possible permanent employment. The position involves managing the facilities team for FEED and execution, as well as defining the scope of work for execution phase in accordance with applicable internal and external requirements.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of integrated facilities system design including SPS, SURF, host interface (riser, umbilical, topsides and input to commercial interface) through FEED and execution
• Manage cost, schedule, safety and quality of facilities scope.
• Custodian of the Basis of Design (BoD)
• Liaise closely with project control function to provide input to and manage own part of budgets and work programs, project schedule and risk management
• Provide status reporting weekly/ monthly for own area
• Seek, capture and share best practice/learnings
• Facilities FEED design from the subsea wellhead to the export system on the host installation. Including the assets` subsea facilities and follow up of host scope (host topsides modifications, re-use of riser and replacement of umbilical system).
• Target prices for the SPS and SURF contracts as well host scope cost estimates acceptable for FID/DG3.
• Execution schedule for the overall facilities scope, integrated with relevant interfaces (e.g. wells and host scope).
• Risk identification and mitigation for FEED and execute phases.
• Input to PDO document.
• Implementation of selected facilities concept; Detail design, procurement, offshore installation and commissioning of subsea facilities in collaboration with SPA contractors and in line with agreed KPI’s.

Education:

• Master or bachelor degree in relevant engineering discipline

Experience:

• 15 years relevant experience with proven delivery of relevant subsea developments and/or brownfield modifications
• Experience with subsea projects and facilities design
• Strong knowledge of NCS technical standards and authority requirements
• Commercial and operational awareness
• Effective interface management both internally and externally with contractors
• Working knowledge of hazard and operability reviews
