Senior Cash Manager

Group Treasury is the centralized treasury function within KONGSBERG. Treasurys overall responsibilities are financial risk management, liquidity planning, funding, cash management, trade finance and insurance. Group Treasury is also involved in corporate finance projects.

KONGSBERG Group Treasury is seeking an experienced and ambitious finance professional to fill the position as Senior Cash Manager.  

The Cash Manager is a central position in Group Treasury Front Office, and offers the opportunity to gain broad experience within international treasury and finance. The position requires active collaboration with other Group Treasury function, our tax department, the regional finance departments and our external banking relationships. The position will report to Group Treasurer.

As Senior Cash Manager you will have the following tasks:

• Responsible for the managing the KONGSBERGs overall liquidity which includes
• • External funding
  • Internal funding of subsidiaries
  • Optimizing cash position, liquidity and net finance
  • Cash Flow forecasting
  • Managing and optimizing global Cash Pools
  • Responsible for further developing the cash management function
• Participate in implementation of new treasury management system
• Key point of contact towards the Cash Management Banks

Experience and personal qualities:

• Higher degree in finance
• Experience within Treasury and Cash Management from corporates or banks
• Strong interest in international finance and financial instruments
• Strong analytical skills
• Interest in and ability to master new IT systems
• Self-driven, energetic and able to work independently and also be a team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, in particular in English
• the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Management and across functions within KONGSBERGs subsidiaries
