The Data Science & Analytics unit within the Data & Information Management department has the overall responsibility for the Data Science & Analytics in Aker BP. As the Manager, you will report to VP Data & Information and be responsible for managing and building up a center of excellence unit within the company, ownership of the operating model for data science & analytics, and deliver projects and competency to customers.
The position is located in Stavanger, but Trondheim and Oslo could be considered.
Arbeidsoppgaver
- Member of the Data & Information Management leadership team
- Overall responsible for Data Science & Analytics (DS&A) in the company
- Manage and build up the DS&A unit, including personnel responsibility
- Responsible for processes, systems, solutions and strategies related to DS&A
- Define and implement the operating model and governance model for DS&A work
- Coordinate with Cognite as provider of our data platform, and other vendors, related to DS&A services
- Promote data driven decisions, the opportunities related to data science & analytics, and the DS&A services in the company
Kvalifikasjoner
- Extensive experiences with DS&A, with knowledge of data lake and data warehouse technologies.
- Since this is a managerial position, we expect the right candidate to be able to manage others, hereunder recruit, retain and develop high potential resources.
- We are looking for candidates who like to challenge traditional patterns, utilize new technology, and build innovative new ways of working.
