Senior IAM Business Analyst

Experience: 05 – 10 years

We seek a high performing Senior Business Analyst to work in our professional implementation team in Trondheim or Oslo, delivering software to our customers globally. The selected candidate will be working with Pipe-It, Tieto’s leading integrated asset modelling (IAM) software suite for asset management and optimization in oil and gas. Pipe-It is being used by some of the largest and most demanding oil and gas operators globally, enabling them to increase production and NPV for an asset over the entire life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and leading workshops with clients to analyse and gather user requirements and documenting business processes
• Analysis of business requirements and presentation of findings in clear and concise documentation including gap analysis, identification of risks, dependencies and recommendations for process improvement
• Configuring Pipe-It to meet business requirements
• Integration of domain-specific simulation models across the oil and gas value chain within Pipe-It
• (Junior) Project management, ideally in the information technology sector, including management of small teams (2 – 5 members) through the entire project life cycle. 

Skills

• Experience in reservoir, process or production system modelling and analysis.
• Solid understanding of the upstream Oil & Gas value chain 
• Strong sense of ownership, self-driven and ambitious
• Desire to learn and adapt new skills, tools and technologies
• Willing to work in a highly complex environment 
• Ability to cooperate with business stakeholders at multiple levels in an organization
• Clear communicator (written and verbal) who speaks fluently Norwegian and English
• Ability to work in multi-cultural set up, work in a team and to network
• Ability to start with minimum information and proactively gain knowledge
• Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies is desirable

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master's degree within Petroleum Technology or Cybernetics or similar
• 5+ years of Oil & Gas (Upstream and/or Midstream) Domain experience.
