Schneider Electric is looking for a highly driven B2B sales professional to grow our business together with our partner network. As our new Business Development Manager, you are working in close collaboration with our dedicated EV sales- and quotation team, as well as Product Managers and international professional network. Our team has a great team spirit and is highly engaged in offering customers value added solutions within a business that is rapidly growing in the region.

 

You will be responsible for ramping up the electric vehicle charging business in the Nordics with primary focus on Norway. You will assure the agreed sales target in your dedicated area, and build the sales channels and partner network in cooperation with Front Office of the respective countries. In addition, you will be responsible for partner training, sales funnel and catch the rapid growth opportunities.

 

Our ideal new team member has the following background and experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in similar roles, and a strong track record of managing and growing accounts
  • Proven ability to detect and discuss customer pain points and propose added value solutions, and apply commercial strategies with clients
  • Background in electrical engineering / IT / telecom, along with software understanding is valued
  • Personal motivation and interest in green technology and electric vehicles is a must

 

Communication And Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent networking skills to establish customer intimacy through connections with key decision makers and C-level within the customer organization
  • A strong ability to understand complex requirements, ability to clearly communicate client needs, challenge the client on solutions, and close deals
  • Strong initiative, autonomous self-starter and highly organized
  • Open, eager to learn and develop, solution orientated attitude

 

You are fluent in Norwegian and English and enjoy working in an international setting. You have a flexible attitude towards your work, adapt easily to changing environments and learn quickly. With your strong presentation skills, you have ability to influence at all levels. You are a true sales professional capable of completing challenging sales processes together with the Schneider Electric team.

The Business Development Manager role will be based in our office in Oslo and requires readiness to travel, mainly in Norway but also to the other Nordic countries.
