We are looking for our next Head of Supply Chain

As we wish to strengthen our focus on Procurement and Supply Chain Management, we are looking for a new colleague who can join us in developing a self-driven matrix organization to deliver excellent results to our customers and drive the department to the next level. 

You will be responsible to manage the global Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSCM) functions in order to maximize the value from the TOP supplier spend while minimizing risks. This includes all strategic and operational procurements, globally and across all regional offices. 

We are looking for a candidate that is flexible, self-driven and motivated by learning. We work in a matrix organization where initiative and empowerment are important.  

Some of the things you will be doing

  • Provide global Procurement and Supply Chain functional leadership in order to maximize the value of all suppliers spend while minimizing risks through establishing a best-in-class PSCM business framework (strategy, roles & responsibilities, strategic & operational procurement processes, IT-systems, performance management & KPI’s and organization & competence).    
  • Analyzing TOP spend. 
  • Working with others to identify and develop suitable global and local category management initiatives.  
  • Driving cultural and organizational change to establish and inculcate world-class supply chain professionalism. 
  • Manage all supply chain management for both existing assets and new projects across subcontracts, purchasing, logistics and warehousing. 
  • Develop, implement and maintain all required PSCM related governing documents (policyies, administrative procedures and guidelines).
  • Ensure that PSCM framework is embedded into other relevant governing documents in Teekay Offshore Production (TOP) (PMP’s, FMP’s etc).
  • Ensure cross company adherence to these PSCM governing documents.
  • Develop PSCM strategies and concepts; ensure alignment with corporate strategies and objectives, supported by effective work processes and IT-tools.
  • Obtain senior leadership strategic alignment and guidance in the quarterly TOP Procurement Management Committee (PMC) meetings.
  • Ensure an effective Value Assurance Board (VAB) process.  
  • Manage the company supplier relations, hereunder develop, implement and maintain a supplier performance management framework, including KPI’s and tools.
  • Ensure effective pre-qualification of new suppliers.
  • Ensure HSEQ audit of key selected existing suppliers on an annual basis (coordinated through QA-department).
  • Ensure that all procurements are made within the Teekay Standard of Business Conduct framework through clear expectations, transparent work processes, effective barriers and the right attitudes among the global PSCM team.    

 

What we are looking for

  • You hold an education on Bachelor level (preferably master level) or higher within Supply Chain Management or business administration (PSCM) and have minimum 10 years relevant of experience within PSCM management, minimum 5 years within oil & gas. 
  • The right candidate is someone who possesses excellent leadership-, people-, influential and coaching skills. 
  • You have strong supplier performance management skills and are on an advanced level when it comes to contract drafting and negotiation skills 
  • You have basic legal & commercial risk management skills and a general knowledge within finance and economics 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English are required
