Health Advisor

We are looking for our next Health Advisor

Do you like working with people, medical health and operational safety in a global environment? Do you have solid experience from offshore operations, are humble and willing to learn, and believe you can make a difference in the health discipline? Will you be a mentor for our offshore nurses? Then you are the Health Advisor we are looking for!

You will be responsible for coordinating our work and continuous improvement related to medical health. You will give information and advice to the implementation of health requirements and contribute to transfer of best practices between our operations, and offices.

We wish to strengthen our capacity within the area of medical health, and we are now looking for a self-driven colleague who can work with us in our matrix organization where initiatives and empowerment is important.

Some of the things you will be doing

Be a driving force to develop health promotion programs with focus on:

• Work-related health risks; acute and chronic
• Health and safety during offshore stay and travels
• Sick leave follow-up
• Health campaigns

Give professional support to our offshore nurses and HSEQ superintendents worldwide
Liaise with our contracted occupational health services worldwide
Provide expertise within:

• Work related illness,
• Psychosocial working environment
• Drug & alcohol management
• Chronical health risks and occupational risk exposed groups
• Maintain a robust framework for offshore medical preparedness
• Maintain our administrative procedures, health manuals and medical journal systems
• Maintain our OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001 health and safety certification
• Analyze and report statistics and trends related to health to ensure continuous improvement
• Lead or participate in investigations on- and offshore
• Carry out regular audits and inspections on- and offshore
• Support in occupational hygiene topics

What we are looking for

• You hold as minimum a bachelor degree and have minimum 5 years of experience within health-related services
• Competence and experience within occupational hygiene is preferred
• You have operational experience within the offshore industry and is familiar with HSE legislation for offshore operations, ideally in Norway, UK and Brazil
• You are a team player and have the ability to work independently as well
• You have excellent communication skills, and master both verbal and written English and Norwegian (Portuguese is a bonus)
• We are looking for a candidate who is systematic and analytical and has good corporation skills
• The right candidate is someone who understands that health and safety is an important part of the value we bring to our business.
• You must be flexible on travels both onshore and offshore
